In the last blog, I forgot to actually describe the party! Just bummed about the pictures... Anyhow, a bunch of folks showed up to celebrate, and we appreciate all of them! The buffet of sandwiches was a hit, most of it disappeared, and the cakes were very good. We had a full slab cake for everyone, a backup cake, and a smash cake for Chloe, which she very surgically dismantled. Also, we had a moonwalk downstairs, and the kids worked off cake jumping up and down, and wrestling each other. We were joined by most of the Lail klan, the Carlsons, Kriegels, Carons, Mitchells, Hamiltons, Eids, Annette, Uncle, and Chloe's favorite babysitter/teachers, Dave & Meredith. Sorry if I didn't include anyone, lots of folks... The kids also enjoyed going up and harassing the horses, Cadbury & Baby. Charlie also let me treat 'the Scotts' and Scott Mitchell's daughter Cameron to a ride in the '55.
All-in-all a fun day, Chloe had a great time... it was obviously when she fell asleep seconds after being put in the car seat to go home!
